The 22-year-old officer had just graduated from the police academy in July 2018, she was killed on January 10, 2019. Proceeds from her memorial coin will go to The Natalie Corona Memorial Fund, in which it benefits scholarships and various park improvements. Newman Police Cpl Ronil Singh paid the ultimate sacrifice when he was shot and killed on the morning of December 26, 2018 by a suspected drunk driver he had pulled over. Fiji born, Cpl Singh immigrated with his family in 2003 and joined the Newman Police Department in 2011. He left behind a wife and baby boy. Proceeds of his coin will go to dedicating a portion of Highway 33 in his memory.
